You said your baby is only 4 1/2 months old that means she can hold her pee for 5 1/2 hours. (1 per month, plus an extra hr). If she is in the crate more than the alotted time, she will relieve her self. Make sure the crate is big enough that she can only stand and turn around. Put toys in the crate to keep her from being bored. When u are at home crate her every hr or so for 15 mins at a time so she can get use to being in the crate. Hopefully this helps. It worked for me. It was hard to crate Dior because she was my first baby and she cried alot when she was in there, but after a week or so she got use to it.
