Don't give any dairy products. I am not sure about the black stool, it might be the meds. In humans black tarry stool is a sign of gastrointestinal bleeding. I know that anti-inflammatory & pain medication for humans like motrin or naprosyn can cause stomach problems and even ulcers, so maybe that is what is causing his vomiting. I will continue to pray for him....
Genie...I want to thank you for the information on suppositories, I really think this might help Mickey, if the vet agrees. I've never had to use it myself, or for my dogs, but I know that doctor's often prescribe them for people that can't keep anything down. His little belly must be so sore from vomiting soooo much. I pray that Mickey does improve, but he needs to get stronger, and he needs to be able to eat to do so...Bless his sweet heart.
