Heat, gentle massage and ibuprofen. Heat should be moist heat. Put a wet towel in the microwave until it is very warm wrap it in a plastic bag and put it on your neck where it is hurting and lay down for awhile and let the ibuprofen work. Tylenol will not work as well as the ibuprofen....
