francis53,
Don't feel bad, I also fell for a scam--actually stupid me--I basically fell for 2 internet scams! The fisrst scam was from a "Christian Red Cross Worker", who was transferred to Nigeria. These folks "had" 3 puppies--2 girls and a boy. Since I wanted 2 pups and I was planning on giving the 3 rd pup to my sr. citizen aunt, as a companion, I wanted all 3. It turned out to be nothing but a scam and a nightmare. Cut a long story short--I was totally scammed and ended up losing close to a $1,000.00.
After getting over this heartbreak and anger, I now contacted a "reputable" breeder in Brooklyn, NY--"Puppy Elite". Again I got scammed and ended up paying $1,200.00 for a female Yorkie pup, whose actual value was around $600.00 - $700.00.
She is one of the sweetest and smartest dogs, I have ever had; and I love her to pieces. I would not part with this baby--for any amount of money. However, I did get scammed--big time twice! At least with the "Puppy Elite" from Brooklyn, NY scam--I did end up with a dog. A dog that turned out to be one of the best dogs you will ever meet----BUT, I was still scammed and overcharged.
Again, don't feel bad about getting scammed, it happens to many people. People from all races, education level, income level, etc. 0
