Poor baby! Do you have another vet that can just give you a second opinion (peace of mind more than anything). When our cat had surgery, I felt the same way that you are...didn't look like they did a good job. Sure enough, the other vet clinic said that they agreed with us. We also had them take a look at what he was prescribed for infection and pain. It was also wrong...so it never hurts to ask.
