Poor baby, I don't know about those stitches either, maybe they left them loose for a reason. I'm rather surprised the vet is allowing him to be washed in 2 days, my vet wouldn't allow bathing for 8 days and that was with internal stitches. I know you are worried about the little guy, I would be too, he's been through alot. Hopefully when he wakes up you will be able to get him to eat something.
