Gosh, I hope the stitches are okay. I really don't know, as Miko's have never looked like that. They were all tight. Well, let me go back...His most recent surgery, they put the stitches on a little bit looser, and he snagged or knocked them somehow and had to be restitched a few days after his surgery. This time, they put the stitches on right, and we had no more problems as far as the stitches go. But even as loose as they were, they didn't look like little Mickey's.
I really hope he eats something! At least you're keeping him hydrated. You might try some noodles with a little low sodium chicken broth. We gave this to Miko a couple of times during his recovery when he wouldn't eat on one of the vet's recommendations, and he really liked it.
