Thanks for all of the suggestions. While I want to protect the actual mattress itself, I feel as if she will continue to do it unless I do something about it. I have a mattress pad/protector on it now and I really don't want to use two
That would take even longer to make the bed and I really don't need two.
I know she is going to hate it but I have been thinking about keeping her in the crate at night because I don't know what else to do. I have tried making a fort or a crate with pillows and she just wants to be next to me when I sleep...go figure. I even have a small bed (pet bed) in my bed and she sleeps in it but in the middle of the night, comes under the covers with me.
I just cannot afford to buy another mattress anytime soon...I am still paying off this one!!!
