Dogs shouldn't be let into the bed until they're fully housetrained, I feel. The bed is big enough that she can distinguish one side for "sleeping" and the other side for "pottying."

I do agree with you but she is a tiny one, I feel as if she will never FULLY be potty trained. She goes immediately when we go outside but there are times when if she REALLY has to go, she will just go. I want to start putting her in the crate at night because I just bought that mattress last year and it was not cheap...it is a Stearns & Foster so it was a bit pricey to say the least. She has peed on it about 3-4 times by now. I do wash the sheets and do my best to clean the mattress but I am sure the pee seeps through
