The vet is in his 30th. He took over my old Vets pratice about 3-4 years ago. (I have been with this clinic for 26 years)The vet had some interns in the day he tube the pup. It was almost like he was showing off. He did this right out in the waiting room in front of everyone. He said, the pup looked good and looked like he was eating ok ..but, he was going to top him off (meaning tube him). I asked him if it was really necessary, he said "NO, but lets just get him a full tummy". One of the young female interns held the pup when he did it.. the pup squealed really loud. I told him I wanted to get a weight on the pup ..walked with him to a room, I notice the pup wasn't as active as before, he weighed him ..put him back in his box. I walked up to the front deck to check out. My sister walked in wanting to peek at the pup and I opened the box she said "SIS that dogs not breathing" the pup was laying on his side lifeless.
My nephew said he heard someone holler. He said the Vet came flying out the back door. said a quick "hi" to my nephew, he then went around the build into another door .. He hid out in the office the whole time.(my sister saw him come out the back door, when we left ..she was following me back to my house)
The female vet that works with him (which is New out of school about 6-8 month ) worked on the pup.
He didn't call me for 2 hours later.. saying he was sorry, but sometimes it just happens. I told him I want him to replace my pup that he killed. Because I DID NOT ask him to tube him. That I only brought him in to see if he was dehydrated. Gave him 2 days to get me some names of people to see about a replacement pup. I stopped in the office in the two days ask if he had me some names, he started to hem-haw around. I then ask him flat out if he planned to replace my pup..He said.. NO ,I can't replace every dog that dies. I'm still waiting on the reports that I have ask for (3 times)on Missy and the pup. I have ask for all record on all my dogs. And looking for a new Vet.
I have a lot of questions too. But, no answers.
