We have a big black lab who lives near us and twice now he's charged us as we walk by with our two 4 pounders. Thankfully, both times my husband was there to stand up to him while I grabbed the girls. When I told his owner about this, she acted surprised and just said he's afraid of small dogs "so maybe that's why" Then she had the nerve to suggest I bring them over sometime when he's on a leash to introduce them so maybe he'll get over his fear. Yeah, right. And I'm the Queen of England. But I guess I'm the ditz because to keep good neighborly relations, I haven't called animal control for leaving him loose in the front yard.
