that is the same type of brush i use also and i have a metal comb which is actually a cat comb that has double teeth and this way i get down to the roots and able to comb and brush him up and down til he is smooth!! Went thru the matted at the skin stage and had to have him shaved..now his hair is coming in great and i make sure to do it every day
