I bought a little cage for my babies. It folds out to a 4x4' square, no top or bottom. It hooks together. It folds to a 2' x 2' x 2", so you can take it outside, too. In the house, I put the crate inside and leave it open (actually I took the door off.) I put a puppy pad, a floor mat with their food and water on it and toys. The puppy's are safe, and so is the house. I have even heard of the puppies eating the walls when they are very young. Mine learned to pee on the pad very quickly. After about a month, they never did. They are not very expensive if they are not used!
Now they are 1 1/2 years old, they still stay in their cages at night and sometimes when I am gone. I leave the cage open all the time, because they sleep in there, eat, drink when they want. They drag all their toys to the living room in front of the TV. |
