I'm going to the cemetary to see my mom. Last year hubby and I brought 2 chairs and we sat there a while. It's comforting to sit there with her and talk to know. She may not answer back but I know she hears me.
I bought a beautiful small rose bush and we're going to plant it. I also bought beautiful raised red pavers (I'm going to set them up sort of like a little fence in front of the head stone and put the rose bush int he center). That morning I'm going to buy some extra flowers to plant around the rose bush so that it looks nice and full. I also got this really nice dragon fly on a stick that you stick int he ground. The wings are flexible and move when the wind blows.
I'm probably not going to do much the rest of the day. Hubby and I will go out to lunch after and then I'll go home and spend the day with the babies. They always cheer me up. I don't like to spend Mother's Day with my family. My sister, my aunt, my cousin and my grandma all go out to lunch and they invite me but I can't bring myself to go. I'd rather be alone that day. We use to do a big lunch when my mom was alive and it was so much fun. I just can't do that anymore.
