It really is best to wait unitl the pups have had their first set of shots before allowing them to be handled by outsiders. Please be very careful, have them leave their shoes outside the door and wash their hands. All it takes is a little poo on a shoe and the pups could end up with parvo. One of my pups from the last litter went straight to gold on her head. She is grown now and a beautiful deep shade of warm gold and almost a charcoal blue. Her mother is a redleg. They go through so many changes that it's hard to tell unless you have past litters to go by. Good luck
