Supplementing with calcium is necessary from everything that I've read. I would get a good book on this so you can make sure your baby is getting everything he needs. You can get the Solid Gold Bone Meal or the KAL Inc. Bone Meal...But the dosage depends on the recipe that you're using. The book I use is Dr. Pitcairn's Complete Guide to Health For Dogs and Cats. It's very informative and lets you know exactly which supplements and how much go in each recipe. Good luck!
