There is a urinalysis test to check for Liver Shunt. Doing a Bile Acid fasting test on one as little as yours would be chancey....too small.
My Vet who works with Dr. Susan Centers DVM, who discovered the acid tests, discovered that the urinalysis test to be pretty accurate. Remember anything can throw off the bile levels off at the puppy age.
