okay, when I got Ceeby, my vet would not do the bile acid at that time due to his size and not wanting to fast him. now, as far as the 48 hour thing at the vet, most DO NOT check for genetic at this time. it is basically a waste of money since they have a year guarantee (almost all do) that covers genetic defects and most don't show up until they are older anyway. they can check the heart, knees, worms, just a well puppy check up in general.
