Thanks so much. My mom's Pomeranian has always done this, too. When I go back home to visit my mom, Gidget the Pom gets sooo excited and ALWAYS pees!!

So as soon as I get home, I go get overly-excited-Gidget and direct her outside to pet/greet her, so at least she pees outside. Unfortunately she stays excited and will continue to pee a few more times. I hate to ignore her, as I will hate for MY dog to be ignored...so sad b/c she is so happy.....but yes, I guess I need to train her better than I am doing. you are right. Thanks so much!! I hope ignoring her pays off. It's just annoying to have to clean up the pee anytime I go w/ her to a friend's house or leave her anywhere. But maybe it'll improve. she's a great dog, so it could be worse, I know....jsut checking on potential solutions.
