Don't panic

they're only fleas - it could be worse! (my bf's sister got bed bugs in her house

) In my experience, it's sort of a battle. Once those little buggers show up, it's likely going to take more than one application to get rid of them.
We had a bought of flea here in Animal Kingdom that lasted about 6 weeks. With a huge house that 2 cats & one yorkie have free reign over, and sleep where ever & when ever they see fit, it was quite the task getting rid of them.
A vet-tech friend of ours gave us flea pills - about 5 minutes after Raja ate one he would start going crazy because the fleas were fighting for their life. They all die and fall off. (You can give the oral meds more often than the topical meds.) We also armed ourselves with many bottles (of spray) & canisters (of powder) of
*natural* flea killer that
would not harm our furkids. Powdered the "kids" and sprayed
everything they lay on or come in contact with. It took a while but it was a glorious victory =)
