 Too small?
I know the idea of "teacup" dogs is somewhat controversial.
My wife and I found a yorkie at the local shelter that we may adopt, she appears to be pretty small to me. We can't handle her yet because she has to wait 5 days for her owners to maybe show up so I don't know exactly what she weighs. Her picture is attached, I'm wondering if people have an opinion if she falls into the category of being too small and therefore perhaps more prone to health problems, injuries, etc. All opinions are welcome, thank you.
Edit the shelter says she is five years old, so presumably not a puppy. |
