plus the material in laminate flooring isn't real wood. So, it won't warp and get as badly messed up as real wood does. If certain areas are more prone to water damage, i.e. water bowl, potty areas, just keep extra wood on hand for replacing. I've had lola on laminate flooring for a year (since i got her) and there's been NO issues whatsoever. Easy to clean just vacuum twice a week and wetjet once! Sooooo easy. And it's amazing how new it looks once again when everything is clean.
