I used to have Cingular. They called me and told me that they were upgrading and my phone that I had would not work, but I could go to a Cingular store and use my credit for a new phone. That was fine. Then they told me I could not have the plan that I had. They said I had to upgrade to a pricier plan. I did not use my cell phone much and did not want to upgrade the plan. I told them I would think about it.

Well, I went right down to the Sprint store and they gave me a new phone and a better plan for the same price that I had with Cingular. I got a new phone with Sprint and they used my Cingular telephone number.

I was home for about 1 hour when I received a call from Cingular (they knew because my number was transferred from them to Sprint). They asked me why I switched from them to Sprint. I told them I did it because they did not offer the same plan as what I had and I did not want a higher priced plan. They told me they had the same plan as I had with more minutes and they did not know why I was told they did not have this plan!! They also told me that I had, I believe, 48 hours to cancel Sprint and go back to them. I decided not to go back and have been very happy with Sprint.
