Jolie's heat last arround two to three weeks. As to needing anything other than a diaper no you don't need anything speical. For breeding you shouldn't breed before their second year. Before that and the dog is too you no matter what breed it is. They are still growing even if their size doesn't change. Male should be 18 months before they are breed for the first tume.
