I've tried darkening shampoo and notice no difference at all so I wouldn't bother with that one. Zoe has a silver coat too and we get the silky remark all the time even though I believe silkies are much larger breed and Zoe is only 5 lbs but looks even smaller. Disregard stranger's comments and do what is good for your boy and what makes you happy.

I really don't think there is 1 perfect almighty shampoo/conditioner out there for all dogs, probably a matter of what works well with their coat and if they have sensitive scalp. But I'm sure people's experience on here helps narrow down the hundreds of products down there.

We LOVE LOVE cc brushes. We weren't too thrilled with their shampoo or leave in conditioner.
