| Flustered With Cingular-AT&T, Is Anyone Else Sorry to vent my frustrations, I would appreciate getting some feed back from others on the cell phone provider that you have. I am so flustered with the company we have been with for years and am making a change ASAP, started with AT&T then they went Cingular now they are Cingular AT&T I have come to feel like a yo yo with this company and now after years of our being supposedly a valued customer I am told that I have to get a new contract of 2 years and new phone, as the system I am on is phasing out. In my conversation with a rep with the company this morning, I felt like I was trying to communicate with someone that is programmed or that I was trying to communicate with a recording I don't object to having to get a new phone which would cost me, but I dont' feel that I should have to sign a new 2 year contract . We chose our own cell phone number and paid for it, and then this morning was told I may not be able to take it with me to another company I am seriously considering Verizon, but then was at Costco and the young man was encouraging me to go with T-Mobile. I appreciate the technology of the cell phone world only wish that we had been treated with more courtesy with this company. It is a shame that so many companys in various industries have gotten so big and have lost track of the fact that if not for all of us customers they wouldn't have a thriving business, or matter of fact a business at all. Sad to see how times have changed through the years, I guess I go back a long way remembering how it use to be and the courtesy extended to people. Majority of the time these days, it just isn't so. Next time I go into a store and pay for something and I am given the usual "THERE YOU GO." I told Jack I am going to scream that is the courtesy extended in most of the stores here in California upon paying and receiving merchandise, be it grocery store or whichever, I have always extended my reply of "YOUR WELCOME" assureadly not with a Thanks for letting me vent, appreciate feedback on other cell phone providers.
