I am going to work with Conner starting this weekend. Conner is 14 months old and before I went to work I would tell him go get in his kennel (which is a super duper large cage with his bed, food, water, toys). I would put his "little man" treat in, and he would go in like a good boy. Starting last week, he would not get in the kennel. He would race around the house, and make me late for work. Finally I would catch him when he went into the bedroom. I hate catching him and putting him in. I would rather he go in on his own.

Today, I had to go to work early and my husband had to put Conner in the kennel. The time came for him to go to work, he put two "little men" in Conner's kennel, and told him to get in. Conner started racing around the dining room table. So my husband starting walking to the bedroom, asking Conner if he wanted to play (one of his favorite things to do with my husband is to play on the bed). While my husband was walking towards the bedroom, Conner ran into his kennel, took the two "little men", got out of the kennel and did not follow my husband into the bedroom! I don't know how he finally got him in, but he was late for work. Now he knows what I go through.
