o.k. I have read all this & now I am terrified.....We have always had coyotes & at night Jax is only out with me to pee & back in, but this last sunday at early dusk 3 big red tailed hawks settled in our woods off my deck. On Monday at about 6:30p.m. I took Jax out & he went over to our Labs kennel - guess what!!! 2 of the hawks flew over to a tree closer to our gravel driveway......then there were a total of 6 that landed in our trees for the evening...We can;t shoot them can we??? My hubby says they are endangered, but if they are coming after Jax (who runs just like a rabbit) wouldn't that be considered self defense -and besides who would know??? Kay
