Sorry, I can't really offer much advice because I haven't experienced this. I do have a suggestion tho- do a search on reverse sneezing. I know some people with yorkies have problems with this and maybe the symptoms are similar to what Diamond's are, and there might be some advice on what to do about it.
Let us know what the vet says Thursday, I hope its nothing serious and that everything works out OK soon.
