Well I can see why rescues get so annoyed at loads of cross puppies - lets just hope that many nice rescue people will then go and give them a life home ! I knew that happened with Yorkies and other tiny pure breeds, but I didn't know it was happening with crosses. Over here, people who tend to buy crosses are DOG PEOPLE and will keep them for life.....I hope that doesn't start to happen here then !

Yorkies in the past were never or rarely to be found in shelters, rescue. Now being the #2 Breed in the US....I've been seeing them more and more.
But, yes they are the fashion of the day......it's sad but, true......There is a lady here in Texas that does small breed rescue, she has foster homes all over Texas.....those homes are always full.
