Well after 2 weeks of stress over the health of my baby and 2 vets i am very happy to say that Bailey is moving forward.
The first vet said he had a common cold. well it turns out he had coccidia. i have now started him on his new medication and hopefully we will be able to clear it all up with this batch of meds. Bailey had a small drop of blood at the end of his stool which made me think parvo but he was just too hyper for parvo.
The vet told me that the coccidia would of come from the breeder which makes me so mad!
The 2nd vet also did a full exam on Bailey. He noticed that he only has 1 testicle. the other is somewhere hidden. He told me that if not treated, the 2nd testicle could turn into a tumer. if treated, the nuetering process will be a much bigger surgery and probably twice the price.
All of this was not noticed by the first vet which was recomended by the breeder. I am just so happy that i have found a good vet and we are on the path to a healthy happy life! |
