Females have more attitude, they will come to you when they are good and ready, but males are the biggest goofiest cuddlebug buddies you could ask for (can you tell i have a male???....lol)
I have heard that females train faster (but i have known some people where it took them longer to train their femal...... so it varies......)
Females cost more money..... thye cost more money to spay......
When checking out a pup, you want to test their temperment, you dont want them overly agressive but you dont want them nervous either...... be aware of which pups act in an odd way, are lethargic, ect..... massage the trachea and throat of the pup to see if you can induce a cough (this is a symptom leading to kennel cough and sometimes tracheal collapse) you aso want to check the pups gumline and make sure it is nice and pink (white is not a good sign of good nutrition) and you really want to make sure the parents are on premises for you too look at |
