I was very lucky to have a mentor... she boards dogs, and we have boarded our dogs with her many times, we also have done work for her.
I am willing to bet that she would be willing to help anyone if they needed it... she is quite known in the show ring, but she told me how difficult it was to get started.
She hit a lot of the road blocks you have hit at first, and ended up selling her yorkie stock, and purchased yorkies from the "show breeders" and finally then she was "let it"... but it took many years of trial and error.
She has many champions now (no longer in yorkies though, she has been out of the yorkies for many years) and she has a waiting list for her pups... and she doesn't have pups that often.
Anyways, she said it was a difficult road, and she has made it... so I don't believe that you are not alone with the road blocks you have been running into.
