Merrick comes in two can sizes. A regular size can and a small, tuna size can. I'd feed half a can per meal of the small can. If you use the regular size can, about a 6th of the can per meal I guess. I feed two Yorkies, and it seems like the big can gives them three meals. Just put a can lid on top and refrigerate the rest. When you serve it, put the amount served in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds to warm it up.

By the way, I recommend sticking to the chicken and turkey flavors - they seem to use whole real meats. The beef, lamb, etc. use "meal" and my dogs won't eat them.

I feed home-made most of the time, but in a pinch I open a can of the Wing-a-Ling with the whole chicken wings. Great product and my Yorkies love it!
