Yes, Pergo is just a brand name of a laminate floor (but you already figured that out). We put in Armstrong laminate floor in our new house almost 2 years ago and LOVE it. We bought from a wood floor distributor instead of a Home Depot or Lowe's so I'm really not sure how their prices compare. Good luck!
