I think every dog has their own unique personality and it might have nothing to do with what sex they are. I used to think that the females would be the most loving,calm ones.Some are and some are not. I have a boy that I got first and then Igot the girl when he was almost a yr old.He is the calmest ,most relaxed ,attached at the hip little dog you will ever meet! Now my girl is a different story! She is pure lightning in a 2lb body! She turns 6mo old in 8 more days! She is hyper and fiesty! She's a barker also, which I hate but can't shut her up! lol Cookie never barks when he's in the family room away from us. He just sits on couch where he can get a good view of where the family is
Mimi will bark at the wind lol. Cookie started to "mark" at around 8-9 months. He had been perfect until then.I took him to get neutered and he completely stopped within a week!!! It's like they erased his memory lol ...actually his hormones lol
