I just called VPI, and they told me that LP is not covered

also my breeder said that she will not help me with any of the bills

It really sucks!!!
I called Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Virginia Tech and they said that it will cost up to $1500 for both knees. This is def. better than the surgeon that I went to 2 weeks ago, that quoted me for $2500. But I'll have to drive to VATech for 4.5 hours. twice, once for consult annd second time for surgery.
This is still a lot of money !!!
