Today I had the most horrible scare. I went to work at 9 am and around 10 am my husband called and said that Gracie couldn't be found anywhere in the house. He had gone to run some errands for his parents and my daughter who is living with us right now called him and said Gracie couldn't be found. This has been a big worry for me because she and my grandson are not used to watching where she is when they open doors. Well, I came home from work immediately, told them I felt too bad to work ,not really a lie because I thought I was going to have a heart attack when he called. By the time I got home my daughter had already found her. She was at the other end of our street. Some men working on a house said they had seen her and my daughter told them if they saw her again to grab her and hold on to her. They did and actually brought her to my daughter. I am so thankful nothing happened to her. After a little crying and kissing I gave Gracie a very stern talking to about running away. Anyway, this time it wasn't a tragedy. But everyone in this house also got a stern talking to about watching for Gracie and Abby when the doors are opened. I have read threads on here about missing babies and could only imagine how it felt, now I know. It's a horrible feeling and I hope I NEVER experience it again.
