I am a new yorkie owner myself. I have always had different breeds of dogs. (pugs, doberman, mutt) I can honestly say that I have never had this kind of love for or from any other dog. I have a friend with a yorkie as well and she would agree hands down. I also do not find her to shed at all. That is part of why we got her my son has bad allergies.
