 Boot Camp
I have had five Yorkies in my life and that all get a 10+ for playiing and barking. By the way, I am not THAT OLD in case someone is doing the math on five Yorkies life spans....I had very bad luck with two of them.
At any rate, we all know Yorkies are adorable. BUT, as long as so many people are making games out of bad behaviors or believing that some behaviors are simply 'cute' then the Yorkies are not going to learn rules. And if any breed needs to learn how to stay out of trouble it is this one. So, cute yes!! Allowed? NO!! These little ones can turn alpha in a nano second so people, LOL, be your Yorkie's leader and not his/her audience all of the time. In the long run, you just may save your Yorkie's life by learning how to be the alpha in the house. Just my two cents worth..... |
