I think the first few times you hear it, it does freak you out. I was ready to run to the vet the first time I heard it out of Jilly, but then I remembered reading something about it here on YT. So I jumped on the computer, did my research and felt better. Next vet appt. it was discussed. She said what everyone here said. Now when it happens (rarely) I just try to calm the girls, tell them it's gonna be okay and rub their throats. Ususally only lasts for 30 seconds or less.
