I don't know about where you are, but in my area - dogs are only allowed on most beaches from Labor Day until Memorial Day (I live in Boston - a lot of good that does me!!). I hope things are better in Cali. I would love to take mine to the beach!!

Here is the same, no dogs allow on the beach during the summer.
I took Pierce on vacation last February to Puerto Rico . He loved the beach, I will rinse him off as soon as he was out of the water and let him dry. He had a blast !!! Mia was 14 weeks and too baby to go in the water, but she got to sleep under a tree.
