Doodlebug, if you think there is even the smallest chance of hawks in the vicinity of your yard, do not leave your Yorkie unattended outside. A leash will do nothing to protect him. It only helps when you are present and you can quickly pull your little dog towards you if a hawk is spotted. But if he is leashed and on his own, there is simply no deterrent..... |
