We just got home. It was a mob seen of parents at the school. We had to wait in line ouside of the school and the kids were released one at a time. Some kids and parents were calm as can be and some were crying. My daughter was crying and my son was calm. My daughter was interviewed by one of our somewhat local news papers. She is scared to go to school on Monday.
I am still unclear on what actually happened, but from what I can gather a student was handing out tickets yesterday at school saying "if you received this ticket you won't be killed by me tomorrow." My daughters boyfriend was offered a ticket and denied it. I guess no one took it serious until today when a not was found at school with a bomb threat. Well i am just happy that they are home safe and sound!!
The prom is tomorrow night and I am wondering if this will affect it at all. I am soooo glad that I had the day off. I worked last night and did not get home until 11:15...my kids were still doing homework. I told my son that he better go to sleep soon because I was not keeping him home today. If something had happened I could not have lived with myself. Thanks you soo very much to everyone who replied to this thread. I truly feel like I have my family at home as well as my family on Yorkie talk!!
