Tatum always stays with my MIL when we have to be out of town. One time I called to check on her and my MIL nonchalantly (sp?) told me that Tatum had taken a bath but was okay. HUH? Turns out my MIL had been cleaning and adding chemicals to her hot tub and Tatum was so used to walking across the hard cover that she didn't realize it wasn't covered. She walked right into the hot tub. My MIL was standing right there and fished her out but then got a little freaked wondering what the chemicals would do to her. She was fine but had to have a bath with stuff that she didn't normally get bathed with so she was a mess when we got home. Could have been much worse!
