Default Hope that you are not in LA

Well, i think that she should take him to the vet immediately. It is true about the insurance, they will not cover pre-existing conditions. However, I had over $3000 in vet bills, and none of the vets here in California will give you a payment plan. The vet I rushed Benni to with his overdose insisted on a $500 upfront deposit before they would treat him and I had to pay the balance upon his release. Almost $2000 to come up with in 5 days. Thank god for overdraft and a second job that has helped me catch up on my other bills and this was in February. But whatever it took, I would take him. It sounds like something serious. Especially with the bulge in his tummy. And the SPCA here in OC will not handle emergency calls with your pet. They will refer you to the very same vet that I took Benni to.
