I live in the Hollywood Hills, and right outside my backyard, hawks are at eye level with us daily.... and there is NO WAY IN HELL I would ever let my baby out without me by his side with a leash in my hand. (Which is still dangerous!!!)

A hawk actually flew in the bathroom of my neighbor who happened to have an all glass bathroom (he left the door open for his big dogs).... I threw a towel over the Hawk and set him free.... picking him up and getting really close to him I can assure you that those CLAWS are all MUSCLE!!!!

This is No Urban Legend, Hawks can pick up Yorkies and eat them for luch!!

I recenty hired a trainer to come to the home and we were in the back yard and he saw a Hawk and freaked and shared a horrible story with me that recently occured in a neighborhood across the way with a new yorkie owner.

It sounds silly to think a bird can pick up 3 or 4lbs, but think of it this way... When you were in an airplane last, did you stop to think... how the hell does this thing stay up???

My point exactly!!!!
