She seems to be having seizures every 4 months now, so closer together than before but still far apart....and I know many deal with seizures on a weekly basis!! Yes very scary and heart wrenching to watch. Thanks for your post | Oh yes... the first time I saw him having a seizure he was on his front paws walking!!! I totally freaked out! I still don't know how or why that happened. After that, we were lucky as he "never" lost control of his body functions. Not even as he aged to 15 years old! He was such a good boy. He seizures ranged from petite to grand mall. I was told not to go near him while he was having them... but I "knew" that he wouldn't hurt me and he never did. Infact, I could see in his eyes that he loved me being there with him - just petting him and talking to him calmly. Strange how things happen for a reason... after doing this for so many years it just comes naturally now. There was a young man at work who suddenly and unexpectedly went into a seizure. While everyone else screamed and just stood there watching - I flew from one side of the room to the other to help him. I would love to see a video of it now, because I am so over weight - I don't think any one thought I could move that fast... nor did I! Best wishes with your Lexxi!
