Wow, poor little baby girl! I sure wish her a good recovery. As far as poop, our little girl didn't poop until about 24 hours after the spay surgery after we finally got her to eat. If she isn't going 24 hours after her surgery, will she eat honey-nut cheerios or some little pieces of apple? These seem to help move things along for our baby girl whenever she hasn't been able to go on her regular schedule, being as how they provide fiber.

Also, our little girl managed to wriggle out of her onesie during the night and nibble on her stitches. So you may want to use the collar at night to keep her from opening them. Otherwise, you will have to take her back tot he vet to have the incision reclosed.

Our little girl stayed pretty still from the pain meds, but we also used Rescue Remedy as well.
