You can even time it. My dog will poop at almost the same spot while walking. This will work as well if you take your dog somewhere where you know it is time for him/her to go potty. Just take him/her for a walk around the block and usually this will stimulate them. This helps me alot since I know after she/he did his/her business outside he/she will not do it again in the house.
